The Turkish Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce (TLCC), in collaboration with the World Turkish Business Council (DTİK) and Western Union Lithuania, successfully hosted the Lithuania Turkish Professionals Gathering on May 28, 2025 at the Western Union headquarters in Vilnius.
Centered around the theme “From Transfers to Transformation: The Social Impact of Everyday Transactions,” the event provided a platform for Turkish professionals, institutional leaders, and business stakeholders in Lithuania to explore how financial systems are not only economic instruments, but also powerful tools for fostering inclusion, trust, and community impact.
The gathering opened with welcoming remarks from distinguished leaders, including:

A panel discussion followed, moderated by Ms. Lider Karabulut, Senior AML Specialist at Western Union, and featured contributions from:

Mr. Maksimas Saveljevas, LL.M., Local Legal Partner and Head of M&A at Rödl & Partner Lithuania
Panelists explored the broader role of payment systems, digital transactions, and financial regulations in building resilient, transparent, and inclusive economies across borders.
The event concluded with a networking session, where professionals from diverse sectors engaged in meaningful discussions and explored future collaborations.
